We ask for a DD214 or Page 4 (active duty) for two reasons.
1, our name says it all--"Veterans of Foreign Wars". You must demonstrate proof to become a member. and 2, North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement (since we have a Private Canteen) requires we keep your qualifications to be in the Canteen area on hand at all times to show them if asked.
